Tears 72 x 55 inches Hand and machine pieced, hand quilted One of the first abstract curve designs, Tears was made for Joen Wolfram’s book, The Magical Effects of Color, as an example of iridescent color. It is actually opalescent, which is a form of iridescence. This was the first quilt Judy made after her mother’s death and expresses her grief in a poignant way. |
